Abstract

The penetration of words from another language into the native language, and in
some cases through their translation in one way or another, enriches the vocabulary of the native language. During the Soviet period the vocabulary of Turkic languages including the lexical word composition of the Kazakh language was replenished with words from the Russian language. As a result of this, the scope of Kazakh language application was expanded. The vocabulary of a certain language is enriched due to the internal capabilities of the language, through the creation of derivative words from existing words as well as through the borrowing of new words from other
languages. The main purpose of this article is to study ways of formation of hybrid terms in the construction and architecture sphere in the modern Kazakh language, to determine the linguistic nature of these terms, to analyze the grammatical structure, as well as to determine the reasons and patterns of the appearance of these terms in the construction sphere. The objectives of the research include selection of materials, identification of sources and time of penetration of borrowed words into the Kazakh language, semantics and creation of a typology of terminological units of a foreign
language. Professional texts in the field of construction, materials from encyclopedias, commercial catalogs and terminological dictionaries and standards were used as research material. The sources of introduction of foreign words into the Kazakh language are identified and a typology of foreign language nominations is presented. The article highlights lexical, morphemic, syntactic and semantic borrowed words.
