The article examines the philosophical and cultural heritage of Abai Kunanbayev and the ideas of the leaders of the Alash movement from the point of view of the formation of the national and cultural code of the Kazakh people. The purpose of the study is to find out how the wisdom of Abai and the ideas of Alash's personality shaped the Kazakh identity, moral, and spiritual orientation. The main focus is on the analysis of texts and views of historical figures. Abai is revealed as a personality embodying the moral and cultural archetypes of the Kazakh people, and the figures of Alash are individuals trying to introduce these values into public and political life. The study revealed a connection between spiritual heritage and national consciousness. The scientific significance of the work lies in a new consideration of the cultural code as a changeable, living system. The practical significance lies in the possibility of applying these results in educational, cultural, and state ideology.
