The linguistic study of the folklore language is one of the most important tasks in the
lingo-folklore field, formed at the intersection of sciences.
The article analyzes the semantic features of qualitative adjectives in the work “Kozy Korpesh-Bayan
Sulu” and considers the meaning and application of folklore in the semantic space.
One of the parts of speech differs in meaning and use in folk texts – adjectives. The semantic
baggage of qualitative adjectives in folklore texts is determined by the components (semes) in their
semantic structure.
In the genres of oral literature, including lyrical and epic texts, adjectives are often used and are of
the most important semantic nature. In addition, it plays a special role in creating a picture of the world in
folklore and is a representative of national culture, traditions and customs in folklore.
In this regard, the study of the semantics of qualitative adjectives in the folklore language reveals
a number of important problems related to the semantics of folklore
