Grammatical interference in bilingual speech

The article attempts to analyze the cases of syntactic and morphological
interference in the speech and works of students who are fluent in Kazakh/Russian and English.
First, the authors try to analyze the notions of bilingualism and interference. The most common
classifications of grammatical interference are analyzed. An experimental work has been carried
out to identify the causes of interlingual interference in the field of word compatibility. The most
typical errors caused by the discrepancy between the two language systems, in particular, in the
construction of sentences, the use of prepositions and parts of speech. The study of compatibility
in terms of cross-language interference is extremely important, as it helps to predict the occurrence
of errors.
