The article analyzes the issues of studying the Turkic culture and the shared spiritual heritage of the Turkic peoples, widely reflected in the works of M. Auezov, in accordance with the
demands of the present time. It examines Mukhtar Auezov’s theoretical research on the Kyrgyz epic “Manas”, conducted over different years, his extensive unpublished manuscripts, and the linguistic features of the epic. The world of the prominent writer and academician M. Auezov, which occupies a significant place in Kazakh literary studies, is analyzed from the perspective of new viewpoints, fresh analyses, and theoretical conclusions in the artistic space. The vast topic of “Mukhtar and Manas”
in literary studies has not yet been thoroughly explored, and there are very few works that deeply analyze the literary and creative connections between the two neighboring countries. Even Mukhtar Auezov’s valuable research on “Manas”, which served as a golden bridge between the two nations, has not been given detailed analytical consideration, nor has the significance of his scholarly thoughts
been fully recognized in terms of their value to the spiritual heritage of both nations. M. Auezov’s scientific legacy, which is a unique phenomenon in the oral literature, oral poetry, and folklore of the Turkic peoples, is studied as a shared spiritual value of the Turkic world, culture, and literature. The main directions of the research include the study of Auezov’s intercultural influence, his connections
with other Turkic writers, and his ideas on national and cultural dialogue. The scientific and practical significance of the work lies in deepening the understanding of Auezov’s role in preserving and developing the cultural heritage of the Turkic peoples as a literary bridge between them.
The results of the research demonstrate that Auezov’s works have had a profound impact on the cultural identity of the Turkic peoples, highlighting their importance for contemporary Turkic literature. The value of the work lies in highlighting the writer’s contribution to Turkology and cultural studies, emphasizing his role in shaping cultural identity.
