This article discusses the reflection in fiction of legends about Atilla glorious ruler of
the Huns empire. Since the place in the myths of the ancestors of the Kazakh people of the guns and their
king Attila is an artistic image, we analyzed information about their heroic appearance. As a result of the
analysis of the fact that the glorious ruler, based on the world legends, became the basis for creating a state
and strengthening the country as the basis for its artistic image. Was compared in the ancient German epos
«The Song of the Nibelungs», «Valtarius the Mighty Hand», the Icelandic «Saga of the Welsungs», the
Norwegian «Saga of Tidrek», the Scandinavian saga «Edda» compared The image of the great king. The
conclusions of the world-famous researchers and writers about the plot, the motives of the folk heritage of
Attila are the basis of the analysis
