The main purpose of the article is to study the history of the origin of works, including poems by
Abay Kunanbayev, who is the main poet of Kazakh literature, an educator who raised the art of the Kazakh
word to the world level. Such aspects as the history of each poem, poems dedicated to persons, the attitude of
people to the life of Abai, the history of writing the lyrics of nature, influence of historical events of that time to
the life of Abai, the traces left by him in the verses of these events, should be supplemented, updated.
The article analyses the role of the character of the poem in the poet’s life, the year and place of nature, the
lyrics, the description of a rock or tree or spring winter, the poet’s mood at the time of writing poem, events that
occurred in Abay’s life. There were also highlighted memories of Abay’s life
