Abstract

In R.A. Yergaliyeva’s article of «The problem of national cultural heritage in modern
society» the problem of preservation of national cultural heritage in modern society of Kazakhstan is
put. Two main ways of preservation and revival of cultural heritage are defined. The first – preservation,
restoration of tradition of applied art or oral folklore of Kazakhs in its primitive purity. The second -
transformation of traditional archetypes in new art forms other more modern art forms. Conclusions
are drawn on need of more active and careful attitude to cultural heritage of Kazakhs.
