Abstract

Poetry and eloquence are the spiritual heritage of ancestors who valued the word. Oratory, rooted in oral literature, evolved into written form and became a defining artistic and ideological quality of modern literature. Abish Kekilbaev preserved this tradition, enriching it with wit and expressive passages. Studying his work in the context of oratorical heritage remains a relevant topic in contemporary scholarship. Kekilbaev’s contributions to Kazakh literature, particularly in prose and journalism, are significant. His mastery lies in blending artistry with eloquence, creating expressive, complex narratives. His novels Pleiades – The Constellation of Hope, Flashes, and The End of the Legend vividly reflect the Kazakh oratorical tradition and linguistic ingenuity. This article examines Kekilbaev’s rhetoric and eloquence in literature, journalism, and speeches. Through specific examples, it explores the secrets of eloquence in fiction and spoken language, highlighting its role in shaping the national rhetorical tradition and educating future generations.
