On the Рroblem of Еthnocultural Detail

Abstract

The article defined the term “ethnocultural detail”. The correlation between the concepts of
reality and ethnocultural detail is considered here. Also, the concepts of “localism”, “ethnocultural vocabulary”,
“ethnocultural vocabulary”, “ethnolexemes”, “gap”, “barbarism”, “exotism” are described in the article. On
the basis of S.I. Vlakhov’s and S.P. Florin’s works a supplemented classification of ethno-cultural details is
offered. These are landscape ethnocultural details, linguo-cultural ethnocultural details, mythological and/or
folkloric ethnocultural details, household ethno-cultural details and portrait ethnocultural details. Several types
of literary and artistic space that the ethnocultural detail can characterize have been studied. The ethnocultural
detail is seen as a dynamic phenomenon which plays an essential role in the work at the time of its writing,
characterizing the hero and his way of life, informing the reader of any additional information
