Analysis of the translations of U. Shakespeare’s «Othello» plays in the Kazakh language

The translation of interjections acquiring some meaning in the context, introducing
subjectivity and heightening the emotionality of the statements is a rather difficult task. This article
analyses interjections in the original text and translation. The analysis revealed different ways of
translation, such as the translation with the use of interjections, similar in form and pronunciation in
both languages, translation using the English equivalents of the interjections in the Kazakh language,
using other interjections, translation by the replacement of exclamations containing the interjection with
non-interjectional, but emotionally charged, often abusive exclamation, translation by the omission of
interjections without using compensation, translation by using interjections missing in the original work. It
is found that often interjections in modern texts either have zero interpretation or the contextual adaptation of interjections is used.
