This article discusses the ways and methods of teaching philology students-specialists in the
field of Applied Linguistics and Computer Programming. As in linguistics today, language phenomena and
facts are not only in the context of traditional grammar, but also in the context of applied language spheres,
it can be said that the studies in these fields are going firm and stable. In the first part of the article, the role
of the state program «Digital Kazakhstan» in linguistic studies is explained, then based on the program
of the Department of Applied Linguistics of the Moscow State University named after MV Lomonosov,
we discuss the training of the philological specialists in «Applied Mathematics» and «Fundamentals of
Programming» alongside the «Applied Linguistics» and talk in what part of the curriculum should the training be included and how long should the curriculum be and what should be learned in the content of
these disciplines. This is due to the widespread use of science and technology achievements in all aspects
of our life, including philology. It is clear that this is connected with the process of computerization of the
modern society. Therefore, in order to teach the graduates of philology in the field of computer technology,
we identify what disciplines should be taught and what these disciplines should include
