Considering scientific research expeditions of different periods about the spiritual heritage of Kazakhs
inhabiting Saryarka, we can conclude that foreign travelers and domestic scientists who visited the
Saryarka steppe, in their works on everyday life and ethnography of Kazakhs studied the best samples
of folklore heritage of the Kazakhs of Saryarka (zhoktau, zharapazan, karaolen, riddles, sayings and
etc.), as well as the works of folk composers-classics and various genres of performing art.The folklore
heritage of the Kazakhs of Arka has its own national character, due to the specifics of regional and ethnic
settlement. After Independence, our fellow countrymen from abroad moved to settlements of Karaganda
region. Along with our fellow countrymen a lot of heritage that has disappeared from the consciousness
of the modern young generation, became a symbol of Kazakh customs and traditions, performing art and
ethnographic values, has come down to us. In the scientific analytical part of the article, the samples of the
folklore heritage of indigenous Kazakhs inhabiting the Saryarka region are compared with the values of
the fellow countrymen from abroad and formulated in terms of regional-executive common features and
national spiritual integrity. The valuable data on folklore heritage, such as «Kara Olen», «Zharapazan»,
«Zhoktau», «Riddles», and «Proverbs» were selected based on the materials on the Kazakhs of Saryarka,
collected during the research expedition.
