Religious Motifs in “Kozy Korpesh – Bayan Sulu” Poem

Abstract

It is known that in Kazakh folklore no matter what kind of oral literature it is,
it is associated with a certain degree of religious beliefs. They have been directly involved in
the Islamic principles of religion, which has been in use for centuries, in line with the national
traditions of the people. It is true that religious motives can be seen in artistic compositions that
enhance the appeal and effectiveness of the work.
Religious motives include faith in the Creator, praying to the Creator, asking from the Creator,
receiving disappointing message, exalting, powerful works, and more. All of these can not be said
to be in the same context. However, we can not exclude that the motives are often encountered,
such as praying to the creator, asking for a child. We only realize that there is a supplicated use of
motivation only. While some of the prayings call for the salvation of terrible phenomena, there are
still prayers in one of them to win or achieve the desired goal. This article focuses on identifying
the importance and the place where these motives are based.
