Abstract

The article examines the novel "The Soldier Went to War” by Kemel Tokaev. The first part of the novel convincingly conveys the readiness of cadets of the Military School to pass the exam for the rank of lieutenant, tactical exercises, everyday habits and even strict command of an untimely war. In addition, from the first part of the novel to the last parts - from the collection of diaries "The Soldier's Diary," the breath of the battlefield, the reality of war, the mood of soldiers during special missions, relationships, country, homeland and family, secrets of knowledge, nostalgia, love and respect are widely expressed.

From the collection of short notes from the interior of the novel - "The first bullet released on the enemy," "In the Long Way," "Before the Battle," "There were seven of them," "Behind Enemy Lines," "Special Task," "Such is the life of a soldier," "Inexplicable mystery" are full of life, stories, realities of war and secrets of a soldier The life of the front, the meaning of the battle, the secrets of the soldier are revealed in all its aspects. The essence and secret of the "special task" is also revealed. The soldier's responsibility for protecting the Fatherland is also recognized.
