Abstract

One of the most important genres of the Kazakh folklore are epic poems. Nevertheless,
it is well known that various features and aspects of the Kazakh epic are not yet fully understood. The
article discusses polygamous marriages found in the Kazakh epos. Eposes of Kazakhs and the world tell
complete ideas about the features of polygamous marriage. An in-depth study of this issue in the history
of Kazakhstan, determination of the continuity of traditions, analysis of the situation in the Kazakh eposes
and understanding of another aspect of the Kazakh life
