Legacy of the Wolf Spirit in the National Worldview

Abstract

The article considers the Kazakh people’s totem «Kok bori» (wolf), the origination of
this faith, connectivity of today’s Kazakh people with ancient Turks and consistent spiritual improvement,
preservation of national cultural property as well as inculcation the Turkish spirit in the minds of young
generation and vitality of principles. The wolf image appeared and spread among nomads of Central Asia,
especially in Turks worldview. This research article examines wolf cult and description of the totem of the
wolf in cultural monuments
