The article deals with the language personality of the student. For the formation of the student as
a language personality, the function of the text, its content and use are described. In addition, speech becomes
a lexical feature of the student’s linguistic personality. The influence of texts in school textbooks on the spiritual
development and formation of the student as a person is also covered in the article. Because, as research shows,
the basis for the formation of a language personality is laid during the period of a child’s education in school.
Therefore, the text of textbooks occupies a special place in the formation of the language personality of the
student in both primary and high school. During the lesson, the teacher takes these texts as a basis. The student
also gets acquainted with the basic data concerning the content of the subject through the text of the textbook.
Thus, the text of the textbook plays a very important role in the formation of the language personality of the
student.On the basis of research on the language personality, the question of what is the significance of the
formation of students was considered
