This article describes the features of the folklore of the Kazakh people in oral folk
literature and legendary literary works. We are talking about the fact that the research given in historical
sources is the basis for solving actual problems of modern literary science. About the features of creating
works of literature and Kazakh children’s folklore in the works of Ibray Altynsarin, Abay Kunanbayev, who
made a great contribution to the development and formation of Kazakh children’s folklore, which began with
the development of oral folk literature of the nineteenth century. As a result of methodological research in
oral folk literature, theoretical analysis of folklore works, reveals the history of cultural works among the
population and the value and values of children’s folklore in the science of oral folk literature, the role of
educating future generations
