Abstract

The article is devoted to the ethno linguistic study of the linguistic features
of proverbs in folk tales, which are excellent examples of Kazakh folklore. Proverbs from ancient
tales give a summary of the story told in this tale. The definition of the meaning and motive of
the proverbs used in fairy tales is directly related to the nature of the ethnic group, its knowledge.
Kazakh proverbs and other paremi as found in fairy tales reflect people’s background knowledge.
And background knowledge is associated with cognitive activity, the human thinking system.
To understand the nature of the national language, basic knowledge is important. Thus, the
determination of the motives of the origin and origin of proverbs that come up in folk tales is of
great importance, how they form the totality of background knowledge, the thinking system of
our people since ancient times.
