The article raises the actual problem of the modern Kazakh oral or written
language, which departs from grammatical, stylistic, ethical norms and becomes anartificial,
translated language. To solve the problem, the concept-term – speech production is proposed. Speech
production is taken as the main category of the Kazakh word art, the differences between this term
and the terms "style" and "norm" are shown. The main units of speech production are recognized as
text and paragraph. In the definition of the category of speech production, the opinions of A.
Baitursynov and the scientific consistency of the views of R. Syzdyq are justified. It is emphasized
that speech production is the unity of the art of words, style is the unity of stylistics, that style is
mainly historical, changes with society, community, deviates from the norms,
unstableandchangeable, and speech production is mandatory for consumers who speak the
language at a level above average, is the fundamental normforall types of styles. It is necessary to
know the laws and norms of speech production, so that the word can affect the listener and the
student. Due to the fact that the norm of speech production disappears in the modern Kazakh word,
the reis a need to search for it in the traditional norm of speech production. Speech production is
defined as logical speech, in which the logic of the speaker's thought, the ethics of communication
are coordinated with each other, speech has a beginning and end, a thought that can appropriately
put a point and clarify the problem, aesthetics and expression are coordinated, and the artistry of
the text. Speech production is the main category of Kazakh verbal art. The main units are text and
paragraph. In oral public speech, it is important that phrases and sentences are not in a special style,
but correspond to the norm and logic of thought, i.e. the text
