The scientific article considers the idiostyle of Rollan Seisenbaev in the novel "The Dead wander in the Desert" and the features of its translation into English. The main goal of scientific research is to find an effective method for identifying idiostylistic signs of the author and to analyze their translation into English. The methodology of the research work is based on a 3-stage direction of research: the stage of searching for a method of determining the author's idiostyle; the stage of determining the idiostylistic components in the composition; the analysis of the idiostyle translation into a foreign language. The author identifies and analyzes the writer's idiostyle using her psycholinguistic model and tests its effectiveness. The cognition and perception of a literary text is an unconscious search action, in which, perceiving our quasi-object / artistic image, we get not just an image, but an image presented by the author and filled with his / her individual meaning. The psycholinguistic model focuses on images because images are the only thing that remains in the reader's memory after reading the book. Within the framework of this model, idiostyle plays the role of formal elements that create images of the composition. The novelty of the work lies in the fact that the author checks the effectiveness of her psycholinguistic model in identifying the idiostyle and analyzing the original and translated text. The practical significance of the article is that the created model can be used to identify and analyze the writer's idiostyle in literary translation. In conclusion, translators should pay attention to the preservation of the author's idiostyle, since it creates images that remain in the minds of readers for many years. The results of the scientific article can be used in the further study of the writers' idiostyle.
