Abstract

The article describes the use of the body theory, which explained various phenomena of objects and nature in ancient India, in linguistics. This theory influenced not only the beliefs of the Mongolian people through Buddhism, but also the knowledge of language. Therefore, first of all, the main meaning of the term "great five elements" and the body theory in the Mongolian tradition will be analyzed.

The tradition of Mongolian sound education is based on chronicles translated from Eastern, including ancient Indian, Tibetan languages ​​and "Ganjuur", "Danjuur" collections, works of Chinese, Tibetan, Korean linguistics. Pays attention to how educated monks and journalists of Mongolia understood the theory of the body and what concepts and terms were used in the classification of language sounds. According to the author, the classification of the sounds of the Mongolian language according to the mentioned theory was the first step in understanding the changes of sounds, their place in the sound stream, and the regularity of sounds, as well as clarifying the basic nature of the way language sounds are created; since this sound classification is based on syllables, the condition of "living together" of sounds, harmony and harmony created a pleasant situation.

In the conclusion of the article, four different benefits of the classification of the sounds of the Mongolian language, formed on the basis of the theory of the body in Indian philosophy, were determined.
