This article analyzes the manifestations of decolonial discourse in the works of Mirzhakip Dulatuly. The research examines the ideas opposing the colonial system, issues of national identity, language, and cultural preservation, based on the author’s literary and journalistic works. The concepts of national liberation and spiritual revival presented in Dulatuly’s notable works, such as "Oyan, Qazaq!" and "The Unfortunate Jamal", among others, allow his creative legacy to be viewed as a vivid example of decolonial discourse. The article systematically explores literary techniques and ideas aimed at resisting colonial policies and restoring national identity and historical memory. Mirzhakip Dulatuly’s body of work is highly regarded as the foundation of the decolonial trend in Kazakh literature. M. Dulatuly considered himself obliged to support the spelling of the Alash scientist A. Baitursynov. M. Dulatuly is a scientist at the head of Shokan studies in Kazakh science. In connection with the task of knowing history, the scientific decolonical position of M. Dulatuly's research "Khan Abylai" ("Aikap", 1912. No. 12), "Kazakh history" ("Kazakh", 1913. No. 7; "Kazakh", 1913. No. 3; "Kazakh", March 22, 1913. No. 7) is clear. These studies of the scientist were a scientific discourse that had a great influence, even then, on the preservation of national identity, overcoming the dominance of the colonial education system, and opposing colonial domination.
