The article is devoted to the analysis of Kagans and commanders in the text of the
Orkhon-Yenisei written monuments as military personalities. Language units characterizing the qualitative
features of historical personalities are considered at the lexical, syntactic, contextual level. The semantics
foundations of the anthroponyms characteristic of Kagans and generals are analyzed, military faces of the
Turkic sense that existed in the VII-ІХ centuries are identified.
It has been established that the status of the heroes started from the inscriptions of these ancient
Turkic peoples. The heroic relationships between the social norms, the rules of self-rule, their ideologies,
their own lifestyle, their military etiquette, their own habits, traditions, relationships with the nomadic
community. In the dynasty, they were separated from their ancestors and ruled the country, rescued by
the enemy from the enemy, and executed by the will of the ancestors. The purpose and the destiny of the
warrior is the fate of the people
