Jetes Biy’s Edification

Abstract

This article describes in detail one of the biys of the Syr-Jetes land, who was
very bold and had a sharp tongue. Moreover, there is an overview of the winged utterances that
were created by him, as well as the perfect deeds that he left as adification to the future generation. He was distinguished by brilliant mind, oratory, and high moral qualities, and all of them brought
him fame among the people.
It is also told about how Jetes biy settled tribal and intergeneric disputes; he could always
find the right words even in the most difficult and controversial situation, being able to eventually
reconcile the enemies. Once again we were convinced that Jetes biy was not only an eloquent
speaker, but also a visionary, the fact that was very necessary for that time.
For the modern generation, oratory and polonial words of biys and orators are of the great
educational importance.
