The article will focus on the methodology of language teaching used in the educational process in higher educational institutions on the subject «Kazakh language». The possibility of using digital technologies is shown while explaining lexical and grammatical tasks. Today there is a huge number of information resources related to the use of digital technologies. In order to use digital technologies in the process of teaching the Kazakh language, we consider it appropriate to use the resources presented on official websites. The article suggests using «useful links» from the website of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the classroom. Working with the text, students can directly use the «vocabulary» heading to determine and understand the meaning of a new word, phrase. Besides, working with the information from the video material on the issue of the lesson with the use of digital technologies, such types of tasks are offered as mastering new words, the ability to express one's point of view, improving writing literacy. To improve literacy in performing written tasks one can use the «electronic spelling database of the Kazakh language» phrases. The use of new technologies in the process of teaching the «Kazakh language» contributes to the expansion of the learners’ vocabulary, critically analyze any information and the ability to freely express their thoughts and points of view.
