This article discusses stages of the formation of the creativity of the Kazakstani writer
Herald Belger and his famous works. The writer’s creative work developed in line with the world literary
process, artistically intertwining the traditions of Kazakh, German and Russian literatures. Various genre
forms are presented here – from the narrative to the novel. G.K. Belger holds a special place in the
Kazakhstani literature. The works of the writer reflect his unique creative manner. Their main themes are
the past and the present, history, people’s fate, internationalism, themes of home, memory, homeland and
fate. Originality and uniqueness are characteristic of G.K. Belger’s literary world of. A combination of
simultaneously common and different cultures the writer belongs to, generates an inimitable and unique
style.
