In connection with the in-depth study of the language and culture of the Kazakh people, the need
for anthroponymic research is growing. The work touches on the problems of motivation of proper names, the
origin of Kazakh clan - tribal names, dialectal features, translation and transliteration of foreign proper names,
issues of functioning of proper names in intercultural communication. In close connection with the nature of the
components and the naming formula is such a property of anthroponyms as information content. A name can
carry quite significant information about human qualities, about a person’s relationship with his father, family,
gender, nationality, origin, occupation, time of birth, social and demographic situation of parents, locality, etc.
An appellate name is revealed in the Kazakh language , which is a kind of social gene, minimized containing
rich cultural information about the people.
